PARISH POTLUCK: the Vocation Ministry Team will be held Sunday, Oct. 18, after the 10:00 AM Mass. This is to celebrate Deacon Sunday (10/11) and our very own Deacon McNeal! (there will be a box for cards). All are asked to bring one main dish and one side dish or dessert to feed 8-10 people.
AMENDMENT 3: Over the next several weeks, Missourians will be considering how to vote on Amendment 3, which would repeal the most harmful provisions of the 2024 amendment that regrettably enshrined abortion in our state constitution. Bishop Johnston joins his brother bishops across the state of Missouri in urging Catholics to vote YES on Amendment 3. You may read or watch the full statement from the Missouri bishops at kcsjcatholic.org. Early voting begins on Tuesday, Oct. 20 and will continue through Tuesday, Nov. 3.
WORLD MISSION SUNDAY: This Sunday is the 100th anniversary of World Mission Sunday which Blessed Fulton Sheen directed World Mission Sunday from 1950-1966. Pope Leo XIV has recorded a special video message for the occasion.
